SmartWheels was formed in 2007 by Gino Dorrance and Stu MacPhail for the purpose of bringing street-legal vehicles to Denver and Colorado that operate on alternative fuels… ESPECIALLY 100% ELECTRIC CARS AND TRUCKS.

During 2008 Frank Snell joined our team of Electric Vehicle Specialists.

Our team represents nearly 50 years of experience in the automotive industry. We know cars and trucks… but more importantly, we know the technology behind environmentally-sensitive, electric-powered personal transportation.

We have worked with numerous brands of 100% electric vehicles… know their short-comings, and their benefits. Our background and knowledge make it possible for you to select just the right pollution-free vehicles for your application.

SmartWheels is NOT a typical bricks and mortar motor vehicle dealership. As a result, we don’t have all the costs associated with a dealership. We represent the top lines of low speed electric cars and trucks… lines that offer the optimum in equipment options… for direct sale to individuals and institutions.
